Byron Donalds is putting his fundraising muscle on the air.

The Friends of Byron Donalds political committee today launched two new television and digital ads statewide, part of the committee’s previously announced $20 million buy — the largest single media investment of the 2026 gubernatorial race. The spots, “Jack Up” and “Shot” are now live across cable, broadcast television, and streaming platforms across Florida.

In “Jack Up,” Donalds makes clear he stands with President Donald Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis on AI data centers, pledging to protect Florida ratepayers from utility rate hikes and negative environmental impacts. In “Shot,” he speaks directly to the cost-of-living squeeze facing families across the state, opening with his own story: a mother who worked two jobs in Brooklyn and still lived paycheck to paycheck, and his move to Florida nearly 30 years ago that gave him the chance to build something from nothing.

“Byron Donalds is laser-focused on making Florida more affordable for our families, seniors, and young people,” said Ryan Smith, Chairman of the Friends of Byron Donalds political committee. “These ads tell the story of who Byron is and what he’ll fight for as governor: lower costs, consumer protections, and keeping Florida the state where everyone can achieve their dreams.”

The buy reflects Donalds’ dominance as he continues to shatter fundraising records, build a ground operation that has knocked more than 175,000 doors, and command the most conservative backing in the field — including the endorsements of President Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Elon Musk, Charlie Kirk, U.S. Sen. Rick Scott, the majority of Florida’s sheriffs, and dozens of legislators and conservative leaders across the state.
