MAHA Action, a political advocacy group that supports President Donald Trump’s Make America Healthy Again agenda, is endorsing Republican U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s bid for a third term representing Florida’s 13th Congressional District.

The organization called Luna “one of Congress’s strongest MAHA champions,” citing her efforts to improve food transparency and hold pesticide manufacturers accountable.

The House approved Luna’s amendment to the 2026 Farm Bill in April, removing provisions that would have restricted state pesticide regulations and shielded manufacturers from lawsuits alleging health harms from chemicals sprayed on food crops.

Luna also introduced bipartisan legislation in July alongside Democratic U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro to preserve consumers’ ability to sue pesticide manufacturers over alleged failures to warn of health risks.

MAHA Action has also pushed to eliminate vaccine mandates. Its candidate pledge opposes medical mandates, while its President, Tony Lyons, urged Republican leaders in February to pursue eliminating childhood vaccination requirements, revise vaccination schedules and remove liability protections for vaccine manufacturers, according to biotechnology trade publication BioCentury.

Luna faces Democrat Leela Gray in the Nov. 3 General Election.

Recent polling has shown a close contest, while Cook Political Report and Inside Elections have shifted the race from Likely Republican to Lean Republican. Gray also outraised Luna in the latest reporting period, though Luna held about $747,000 in cash on hand to Gray’s $656,000 as of Oct. 14.

Luna won her first two congressional elections by 8 percentage points over Democrat Eric Lynn in 2022 and nearly 10 points over Whitney Fox in 2024.

The race follows congressional redistricting that dismantled neighboring Florida’s 14th Congressional District and reshaped CD 13. Democrats are pushing to flip the redrawn seat as they seek to regain control of the U.S. House.
