Washington Examiner Senior Writer Joe Concha mocked CBS News anchor Margaret Brennan for failing to trap Secretary of State Marco Rubio in a “gotcha moment.”
On Sunday, Rubio appeared on Face the Nation ahead of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other European leaders’ meeting at the White House. Brennan suggested the leaders joined the meeting over concerns that Zelensky would be “bullied” into a deal. Rubio objected that “that’s not true” and said the suggestion was a “stupid media narrative.”
